
Sara Evans has only had one lifelong dream she has always wanted to compose and perform in country music. True Lies, though it received favorable reviews and received nominations from the Academy of Country Music for 1998's best new female singer but failed to create an impact. Evans was persuaded to change the repertoire for No Place That Far in 1999 by producers. This gave her the recognition that she'd had been seeking for years.
